Always ensure that you and your employees know your products and services. Customers want to work with knowledgeable employees. This is only to ensure that you and your employees, can be better equipped to answer customer questions.
Make your customers feel important. Always remember that a happy customer always returns, and that word of mouth is just as important as online advertising. Know what is happening in your community! Treat your customers as individuals, because every person differs from one another and not all are alike. Each customer has individual needs and concerns and they want to be treated with a personal touch that does not make them feel like a number.
Communicate with your customer in a manner your customers like to communicate. Keep your promises to your customers, and make a point of it to keep your customer up to date. Especially when you have given them a time-frame, ensure to honour that time-frame.
Don’t waste your customers’ time. Everyone is busy and nothing will frustrate a customer more than feeling like his or her time has been wasted. Remember that customers bring business.
