This comfortable 7.2km walk is practically flat the whole way with a wooden board walk guiding you through the lush forest. Keep an eye out for the beautiful Knysna Loerie, Giant Kingfisher and numerous other feathered beauties, as well as a myriad of indigenous trees and plants. Enjoy the scenic views of the meandering river and the Ebb and Flow North Camp site on the opposite side of the river. You will find many well-marked picnic spots along the river. This route also crosses the Touw River by means of a pontoon. Most of this walk is done in the shade and on a wooden board walk.
Start: Wilderness National Park near the Touws River bridge
